Record the ordinary days too

A diary that only speaks when something goes wrong looks like advocacy, and the other side will say so. The boring entries, weather, labour on site, areas worked, are the baseline that gives the disrupted days their meaning: without them you cannot show what normal looked like, so you cannot show the difference the event made.
