I price what acceleration actually cost from your records, so the claim is a premium built measure by measure rather than a round number.
The problem
Acceleration is bought in a hurry and priced afterwards. The instruction, or the pressure that stood in for one, lands mid-job; the gangs double, the hours stretch, the supervision thickens, and months later someone asks what it all cost. By then the cost sits tangled inside the job's ordinary spend, and the claim that goes forward is a round number, easy to assert and easy to refuse. The cost was real, but a figure nobody can trace to a record buys nothing.
The solution
I build the premium from the records: the overtime hours against the base rate they exceed, the additional gangs, the thickened supervision, the plant and procurement premiums, each measured against a non-accelerated base period so the claim is the difference, not the whole. Whether there was an entitlement to accelerate at the other side's cost, and who caused the delay being recovered, are taken as inputs from you or your programmer, adopted and attributed in the claim, never assessed by me: I price what the acceleration cost.
What you receive
The claim stops being a round number. Each head of acceleration cost is measured against the base period, priced from the payroll and the invoices, and attributed to its stated basis, with the adopted entitlement position on its face. What goes forward is a schedule the other side has to engage with line by line, with a written report behind it.
The Handover Pack accompanies the work with its dates and sources, likely outcomes and responses, scope boundaries and ready-to-send correspondence where needed.
Turnaround: the timetable is agreed in writing at scoping and then kept.

The right to accelerate at their cost, and whose delay is being recovered, from you or your programmer; the claim adopts it as given and says so.
