Nobody takes photographs

Every pocket on site has a camera and the job still generates no photographs: people are busy, some feel awkward photographing colleagues' work, and on plenty of sites a phone out mid-shift reads as slacking or a safety breach. So the cheapest evidence in construction - the dated photograph of work as it actually was - never gets created, and its absence is discovered at the worst possible time.

This is a habit problem, and habits need structure: named photographers, agreed moments - covering up, before concrete, deliveries, each valuation date - a site rule that makes commercial photography legitimate rather than suspicious, and a log that gives every shot a place to land. The capture service sets that structure up and walks it in until it runs without being pushed.
