Start the account file on day one

The final account is only the contract sum plus every adjustment the job produced: variations, provisional sums, fluctuations, claims, omissions. Keep a running account from the first month, updated as each adjustment lands, and the final submission becomes a reconciliation rather than an archaeology project.
